In the Greek, the word 'sorceries' is 'pharmakeia' and denotes pharmaceutical medications and poisons.

In three words, Christ uttered a lesson that every Christian must learn. Remember Lot’s wife. As world events draw us closer to that final hour, reflecting on the condition of our hearts becomes all the more imperative. For as Brother Chris shows, the penalties being threatened upon those who refuse to comply with the emerging medical mandates of our time functions as a trial-run for the mark of the beast.

The Lord counsels us to watch and be sober. Yet for those who are watching, the signs point to conflict, persecution, pain, and loss. Notwithstanding this fact, the rapid developments of the enemy (evident in our world today) should not consume us. Through a study of the early apostles and the gift of the former rain, along with prophecies disclosing the power of the latter rain, the Christian is reminded that they are not engaged in a one-sided war.
